The first performance in the Spring 2010 Jamestown College Performing Arts Series will be held Sunday, February 21, 2010 at 2pm in the Reiland Fine Arts Center. Concert pianist Jihye Chang will perform.
Chang a member of the faculty at Concordia College in Moorhead, MN, and at North Dakota State University, Fargo, ND. She has appeared as a soloist and collaborative artist in venues throughout the United States and around the world. Together with violinist Benjamin Sung, she is one of the recipients of this year's Copland Fund Recording Grant. She was also the first winner of the International Competition for Pianist-Composer Collaboration. She holds the degrees of Doctor of Music and Master of Music in piano performance from the Jacobs School of Music at Indiana University.
